WHAT WE ARE… A SAFE PLACE TO GO
One of the problems faced by young people in the Niagara Region is where to go to spend time with friends, and what to do when they get there. Positive options are extremely few. The 180 Youth Centre provides a positive option, and in turn, can serve as a valuable preventative to questionable life-style practices.
PEOPLE WHO CARE
Peers, as well as adult role models, are sought by youth in a desire to find people who will care about them. The 180 provides an opportunity for young people to interact in a positive environment, as well as meet adult volunteers and staff persons who are willing to offer a listening ear, encouragement, support and friendship.
A PLACE TO FIND PURPOSE
Young people are experiencing a transition during which issues of personal identity, values, and life direction are being explored. The 180 Youth Centre promotes the healthy development of the whole person (physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual) in an effort to assist youth in building a stable foundation for life.
AT A GLANCE
The 180 Youth Centre is:

- refuge from pressures that may exist at school or at home
- a safe place for young people to be with caring adult volunteers

- an opportunity to explore life-related concerns and spiritual issues
